Atomic Garden | Oakland

We made it to the west coast and it feels good! Our friends Jordan and Casey recently moved from their apartment in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley to a quaint little block in Oakland. I’m stoked to stay with them and explore the East Bay a bit. My first stop was College Avenue for some window shopping. I discovered one of my new favorite outposts, Atomic Garden. The shop is rad! Housewares, paper ephemera, delicious candles, body products and natural baby stuff.
We bought Lorea a maplewood teether for her incoming baby teeth! They come in awesome shapes— we went for the skull. Hit up Bittersweet Chocolate Cafe down the block for some strong coffee and cocoa. *middle image via Remodelista

Yes! Atomic Garden is awesome! If you’re in Oakland for a bit you should also visit Esqueleto (jewelry shop), Ali Golden’s store, and the Temescal Farmers’ Market on Sunday (9am-1pm). I help operate farmers’ markets all over the Bay Area and this one is my personal favorite. Love your blog! 🙂
